ESP32-C3 Help (Phototransistor)

So … I am dipping my toe into the world of ESP, I have got the following
1 x TEPT4400 Phototransistor
1 x Seeed Studio XIAO ESP32‑C3
1 x 10k resistor
1 x 3.7 V LiPo 500 mAh battery

Now i need to figure out how to connect them all together so i can find out when my boiler relay light from Evohome is turning on.

Can anyone help ?

oh and a load of dupon cables and a breadboard if that helps ?

I have a project similar to yours, the parts are almost here to test.
The only difference is the lipo battery. I will try first plugged to usb and maybe later with battery. Not sure if that is a bit of a challenge because of the c3 and sensor consumption.

That is for initial testing. The final project is better with a proper perfboard and solder.

do you have any wiring diagrams showing how it will be wired up ?

Not yet; probably something similar to this and then esphome:

Or like here (disregard the part about the pir sensor).

so its basically that

Might do it using the breadboard for my first attempt, then i just need to solder 3 points and do the rest on the board with the resistor.

You don’t even need that resistor with tept4400.
I wrote topic about it while ago.
