ESP32 C3 super mini wifi signal booster

In my case, rotating the antenna 90° surprisingly improved the connection; now the Wi-Fi connects instantly where before it couldn’t even connect on its own.

You couldn’t just rotate the whole board, and not risk unsoldering or damaging parts?

Do you have the northern or southern hemisphere version of the board? You may have to turn it over if you have the wrong one. Try it and report your observations.

This thread is such a comedy,

Maybe rotating only the antenna removed one end from ground leaving more signal on the air instead of being sent on the negative side of his power supply ??

Never seen that explanation for RF issues before.

It seems the C3 Super Mini is poorly designed and manufactured. It is cheap. It appears that you might not even get what you paid for.

But, glad you got it working for you.

Ok I elaborate it better.. if his c3 is one with missing caps in antenna matching network, removing ground side from antenna could lead to a better impedance match and so a better rf irradiation from that ceramic dummy load.
