I'm considering to build a button using esp32-h2 and coin battery based on this: Zigbee Component - ESPHome - Smart Home Made Simple
And wondering if any one has experience to estimated battery life if it used a few times a day? Will this component allow deep sleep and wake on GPIO level change? just for a second to send a message to HA.
Before you go down the ESP32 path, have you considered the nRF52840 which has far lower power consumption figures and should give you longer battery life at a similar price point? Supported by ESPHome.
I just have some of these C6 and H2 on hands. Still if significant differens, sure nRF52840 will be considered. Just looking for input from users with hands on experience. Thank you.
