I have been “putzing” with ESP-32 and LD2410C on and off for several months. I have had inconsistent results getting them to operate together. Once I get a CPU and Sensor working they are great. But getting to that state has been EXTREMELY hit and miss for me. I was hoping someone could post links the the SPECIFIC CPU and Sensors they have had good luck with. Would be greatly appreciated. PS: Could be just me!!! ![]()
Tell us about the setup you are trying to use, as I have used them on all kinds of esp32 and bluetooth without any issues.
If you give us the info someone will surely be able to help, so your yaml, esp you are using connections, whether solder ro jumper leads etc. Without the info you will only get guesses which will get you nowhere fast.
Hi @Rei_Studio and welcome.

Could just send me links to where and what 2410 and what esp chips you purchase, that is what i really desire right now.
It will work with any esp32 you care to buy, the Ld2410c boards are all the same. I use esp32 n16r8 boards with 3, a esp32 c6 with anther and Bluetooth with esp32 wroom on another 2. In the past I have used other boards as well.
It is much more likely your yaml config or the setting you use, that causes the issues.
Why use an extra ESP32? Get a buck converter to power the LD2410C directly and use this integration to get into HA. Way less hassle, unless of course you’re not comfortable handling mains voltage.
If doing that you don’t need a buck converter, just use a usb charger, cut the plug off and connect the red wire to 5v and the black wire to gnd, far safer than messing about with mains (probably)
But hey the op does not want to tell us how he is using the device or anything really so he won’t get an answer.
I have 3 of these ( ELEGOO 3PCS ESP-32 Dev Boards, ESP-WROOM-32, USB-C, WiFi Bluetooth 4.2) and 3 of these ( 3pcs LD2410C Human Presence Radar Sensor Module HLK-LD2410 LD2410 Millimeter Wave Non-Contact 24GHz ISM Band Serial Port IO Level Output
Brand: XIITIA from Amazon.
. Thanks to those offering advice.
