ESPHome 2025.11.0 not available

Attempting to update ESPHome in my Windows laptop fails. When specifying this version in the update command, this version does not appear in the available list. While attempting to compile code for a device, an error message indicates that 2025.11.0 is required. Is it possible that while the HA version of 2025.11.0 is available, it is not available for Windows systems?

Are you trying to update ESPHome on your laptop via the command line and pip (for Python). Or some other way? According to pypi, the 2025.11.0 package is generally available:

https://pypi.org/project/esphome/

I have tried updating using the update feature of ESPHome and via Pip. The problem seems to be that even the latest version is not the version installed within HA. So, even when ESPHome update is successful on my laptop, when I try to compile the HA Voice device there is an error stating that the ESPHome version installed is not the required version.

You’ll need to add this to your add-on repository.

EDIT - sorry, hopefully this works, but the legacy versions are always the last version released in the month. So… not 2025.11.0, but instead 2025.11.5
