During one of the last updates to ESPHome, one of my devices started failing updates with the error code : At least one of ‘id:’ or ‘name:’ is required!.
It’s still working, my Airthings devices is connected and showing up OK, but it failes update. Any advice on what’s missing?
Not sure why it’s needed now, but you have to add a ‘name’ field. In ESPHome, edit your sensor’s config and add a name key as below. Install that and it should fix the failing updates.
