is anyone work with ESPHome and Waveshare TSL2581 light sensor ?
I can’t fix it with custom sensor.
Yes, I got it running. What is exactly your issue? How does your config look like?
thank you for your reply, i don’t know how to create the yaml file in the
/usr/share/hassio/homeassistant/esphome/tsl2581.yaml
and also where to put the Waveshare libraries.
When you use ESPHome why do you want to do this manually?
Just configure I2C for your ESP: https://esphome.io/components/i2c.html
Then configure the sensor: https://esphome.io/components/sensor/tsl2561.html
And everything else it done automatically.
Ok, now I see. I thought you meant the TSL2561 but you are talking about the TSL2581. Sorry
