At some point the download binary file stopped working for me. I use esphome addon in Hassio successfully by adding the devices through the hassio panel, compiling, downloading the binary and flashing with esphomeflasher. All from Macs. I haven’t been able to download the binaries lately. Teh download starts with file of download.txt that then becomes download.bin after a while. I tried flashing download.bin but esphomeflasher says it is an invalid binary. Any suggestions?
Hum when I have install and start to use ESPHome I saw this issue too. I don’t recall exactly what I change for that.
Are you using Nginx?
Check also in your configuration.yaml

Turns out it was the firewall on the Mac.
