[ESPHome Component] Sleep Noise Generator

Hey everyone! I’ve been working on esphome-noise (with some input from Deepseek and Gemini), an external ESPHome component that generates background sounds directly on your ESP32. Streaming audio files can cut out if your Wi-Fi isn’t great, and the ESP32’s limited onboard storage makes keeping audio files locally tricky. This generates everything on the fly, with no audio files or streaming needed.

It includes white, pink and brown noise, plus sounds like rain, ocean waves, a fan and a campfire. It works with ESPHome speakers and includes Home Assistant controls for playback, volume, tone and a sleep timer. There’s also an optional web dashboard that overrides the built-in ESPHome web server, and support for pausing or lowering the noise during announcements.

Setup instructions and example YAMLs are in the repo. If you give it a try, I’d love to hear how it sounds and what hardware you’re using. I’ve attempted to make it hardware-agnostic, but only have a limited range of devices to test on. Feedback, bug reports, ideas and PRs are all welcome! :slightly_smiling_face:
