I am running HA on Raspberry PI4.
I am getting the attached error when trying updating ESPHome Device Builder 2025.4.1.
My system is:
- Core 2025.4.4
- Supervisor 2025.04.1
- Operating System 15.2
- Frontend 20250411.0

You did have ESPHome working before the update?
After the update failed do you still have a working ESPHome builder (prior version)?
Whatever you do, make a copy of your config/esphome folder. If you haven’t yet, install the Samba Share add-on. This will give you easy access to your Home Assistant files using Windows File Manager. Copy config/esphome to a folder on your PC. This way you will have a backup of all of your device configurations.
How much storage and RAM does your Raspberry have?
You are running 32-bit HA OS, make a backup, copy it of the Pi, install 64-bit HA OS, restore backup. Then you can install the latest ESPHome builder.
Alternatively, install it locally on more powerful (and 64-bit) desktop (if you have one) and enjoy faster compilation times.
