Eve Window Guard BLE via Bluetooth Proxy states

Hi all,

I have bought four Eve Window Guard devices for cheap (rebranded Eimsig sensors). These are BLE HomeKit devices and I could integrate them via Bluetooth proxy on an ESP32 and HomeKit Integration to HA. Now I get the “Open” and “Closed” states quite good, BUT if they are integrated via HomeKit directly you would also get only “Open” and “Closed” but they have some other states about the window position and also they can detect if a manipulation attempt appears to the window. This can be read via Eve App in iOS, but is there anything I can do to get these additional states also on Home Assistant?

Hello dennis.knebelau,

I may be completely wrong, but I thought most of the eve stuff was matter enabled. If they are, maybe talking to them using matter might give you different options.
