I have been playing around with the EP1 for a few weeks now & I am about ready to toss it in the garbage. The issue that I am having is that multiple targets will show up in my room. Automations are being trigged when they shouldn’t be. Even when I am standing static in zone 1, target 1 will sometimes drift way outside the zone. This is usually when a 2nd target will seemingly pop out on thin air.
I tried swapping out the LD2450 in the EP1 tonight. I have like 5 or 6 laying around. this did not make any difference, but I was able to at least pick up the sensor in the HLK Radar app. I had not been able to previously & It also picked up 2 targets.
I went a step further & put another sensor in the room that I built which has it own challenges. (cannot create automations based on zones) This sensor was only detecting 1 target where the EP1 was detecting 2.
My EP1 is mount on a wall above a door. I have tried change the angle which has not helped at all. I don’t know what to try next.
