eWeLink Smart Home Add-on for Home Assistant Update

Back in January, we introduced the new eWeLink Smart Home Add-on for Home Assistant to the HA community.

Over the past few months, we’ve continued improving the add-on and optimizing the overall experience.

In the latest version 1.1.0, we’ve added support for syncing 70+ device types from your eWeLink account to Home Assistant. These devices can now be controlled via LAN or cloud. Check current supported devices list.

We also optimized the online/offline logic for RF Bridge devices to improve device status reliability.

Thanks for all the support from the community. We’ll continue improving the add-on and bringing more updates in the future, so please stay tuned!

This add-on is designed to replace the legacy **eWeLink Smart Home** add-on, enabling devices under your eWeLink account to be synchronized with **Home Assistant** and controlled via either the local network or the cloud. The legacy eWeLink Smart Home add-on will no longer be maintained or updated, as some of its entity implementations rely on deprecated methods. The new project delivers more robust, future-oriented device support.

Perhaps your updates could include conversion from the term add-on to the term app to prevent new users to your software from being confused. This change happened several months ago now. The add-on store and add-on folder no longer exists.
