You cannot see a live feed or pickup “a call” when someone rings, but you can see the last motion trigger image. Turn on or off the bell, turn on or of the light.
I hope they can keep working on it and improving it.

I would also like to take advantage of HA and the EZViz HP7 intercom. I already set up the video feed integration but would like to open/close the gate lock from HA.
Also the indoor screen has some real estate / space for other cameras or widgets so could we have a small HA card there to turn off or on local lights or something using that screen instead of another separate screen in the entrance?
Any one got any ideas?

Video Feed ? All I get is a still image and video captures, but not live feed.
I’ve done a lot of research, but it does not seem possible yet.

This is my first contribution to the Home Assistant community. Like many of you, I was tired of Ezviz not providing a solution for the video feed issue, so I decided to investigate the feed myself.
Starting from the great work already done in Bobsilvio's repository, I’ve managed to find a way to get the live video working. I've created a fork to enable the streaming, and it’s been working fine on my setup for a few days now.
I’d love to get some feedback from the community to see if it works for everyone else too.

Big update — EZVIZ HP7 / CP7 integration is at 0.9.3 
Lots happened in the last few releases, here's a quick summary for everyone using the integration.
Live video — finally working
camera.ezviz_hp7_<serial>_live now brings the live H.264 720p stream + AAC LC 16 kHz mono audio straight into Home Assistant's Stream component (HLS / WebRTC). Works over WAN, no port forwarding, no external go2rtc.
Under the hood: MPEG-PS demuxed in Python (_pes.py), elementary streams handed to ffmpeg over two local TCP sockets and muxed to MPEG-TS. Same path the official EZVIZ app uses (cloud VTM relay).
Credits to @pedropaulovc for the original work on the Hik-Connect cloud protocol (the HP7 ended up using VTM rather than P2P UDP, but his reversing helped), and to @albrzmr for his LAN-only fork — still a valid alternative when HA sits on the same LAN as the doorbell.
Unlock events (HP7 Pro)
New binary sensors that pulse for 3 s:
unlock_rfid,unlock_face,unlock_palm,unlock_code,unlock_app
Plus an ezviz_hp7_unlock HA event with payload {category, alarm_name, alarm_time, serial, details, card_id} — handy for automations like "leave the light on if Grandma's card opened the door".
2FA SMS login
No more need to disable two-factor on the account: the config flow now catches EZVIZ code 6002, shows a new "SMS verification" step and re-attempts the login with the code.
Multi-family HP7 + indoor monitors
CONF_MONITOR_SERIAL accepts a comma-separated list. Per monitor you get a dedicated chime switch + volume slider + ringtone slider + motion-sound-alert switch. Auto-fills the suggested monitor serial as the first half of the composite <monitor>-<camera> serial.
More entities
Switch: dnd, privacy, defence, label_light (name-tag LED), chime_pir (motion sound alert).
Number: chime_volume (0–7), chime_ringtone (0–15), chime_pir_ringtone (0–15).
All exposed both for the camera and for every configured monitor.
Auto-detected model
CP7, CP5, HP5, DP1, DP2 are now recognised automatically. The device card shows the actual model label.
Beta caveat
Live video + chime + polling are tested and working on a real HP7 (EU region).
These are beta, please validate on your hardware:
- DND / privacy / defence / label_light switches
- ringtone sliders
- unlock binary sensors + HA event
- 2FA SMS step
If something looks off or doesn't behave, open an issue with the relevant logs — happy to reopen and dig in.
Upgrade
HACS → reload the repository → update to 0.9.3 → restart Home Assistant.
