Failing to add TP-Link Kasa integration

Hi

I am a new Home Assistant user. This is my setup:

  • Running Hass on my linux box using Docker
  • I have TP-Link Kasa HS110 plug

When I try to add the Kasa integration, I get an error “No devices found on the network”.
I did find related discussion, and based on its advice, I followed this TP Link article and configure the plug with local access. And indeed, I am able to control the device locally (using python-kasa library).

Is there a way to add the integration and manually add my plug? Any other suggestion? Thanks!

Anyone? Still stuck on this step. Shouldn’t it be possible to add the integration and add Kasa devices manually?

Did you try adding them manually as per the integration documentation?

Thanks, that worked!

Hi, I have added some of these switches and they show up in TP-Link, but how do I add and on off button to the main Home Screen? I see there is a history here. Are they useless?

EDIT: They exist and work. I found them on the settings for devices.
