After a long time of no-use I am trying to refresh my HA on Raspberry Pi4: it complete the update for HA Core ( from 2022.12.8 to 2025.1.4 ) but failing to do the HA Operating System update ( installed=10.5, last version: 11.5). After few minuts from the start, I get a msg “Lost connection:trying to reconnect” but nothing happens. I hv tried a few times but always the same message. Can you help ? Tks a lot !
While my HA cant still update to Core version 2015.1.4, can you tell me how I can detect the exact OS I had installed ? Cant remember if it is HA-OS, Supervised or HA-Core on Docker. Is there a way to check this ? Tks.
Have you tried plugging a monitor into the RPi? It’s likely stuck on boot waiting for an input via a keyboard.
You may need to follow this instruction:
Tks for yr tip, I didnt use it yet as it looks like the problem has solved by itself. I checkd few mins ago the HA configurations and I see the following:
** Core 2025.1.4*
** Supervisor 2024.12.3*
** Operating System 14.2*
** Frontend 20250109.2*
Are these the latest updates for my HA ?
Not quite,
Supervisor 2025.01.1
Supervisor 2025.01.1 is not yet available for everyone. At least, I don’t see it yet on my systems.
My problem was Adguard blocking something… I disabled Adguard, ran the update, and the update worked. If you’re running Adguard, Pi-Hole, or other DNS tools, try disabling them and running the update.
