Why don’t we have a input_checkbox helper?. Exact the same as input boolean, except is shows a checked or unchecked checkbox. People are now messing around with mods, of use a picture card, while it could be so simple (and usefull)
Isn’t this confusing an entity (in the backend) with it’s representation on the frontend?
I don’t understand why this would be confusing and for who it could be confusing?
I interpret OP’s post as follows: Why can’t I use a “Checkbox” to represent an input binary on a card. The short answer is because apparently nobody has created such a representation. I also think a checkbox would be very handy, averting any need for the bloody ridiculous contortions that are recommended in other posts. Sadly, creating such a representation is not for beginners, and apparently no expert is either interested or available. Such is life in the FOSS world. Like it, lump it, or become an expert and fix it.
