Feature Request: Add iDrate Reticulation Support to iZone Integration

Current Behavior

  • The iZone integration currently only supports AC control and zones
  • iDrate reticulation controllers, despite using the same WiFi bridge and API structure as the AC units, are not detected or controlled

Desired Behavior

  • Detection and control of iDrate reticulation controllers through the existing iZone integration
  • Support for reticulation zones/valves control
  • Support for scheduling and manual operation
  • Integration with Home Assistant’s irrigation capabilities

Technical Details

  1. The iDrate controller uses the same network bridge as iZone AC units
  2. API documentation is available at: Irrigation | iZone Developer
  3. The controller is accessible through the same IP address as the AC unit
  4. The API follows similar REST patterns to the existing AC control endpoints

  • Unified control of iZone devices in Home Assistant
  • Complete smart home irrigation control
  • Leverages existing network discovery and authentication methods
  • Would benefit all iZone users with iDrate controllers
