I’m curious if anyone has done anything with Festool bluetooth? Recent Festool batteries have a bluetooth module that also communicates information about the tool it is being used with. My web searches haven’t reavealed much – one person that just notes the broadcasts coming from the device when it’s running as a signal to run dust extraction.
I thought it would be cool to capture the charge status of my batteries and include that on my shop dashboard, but before I set out to capture a bunch of packets and try to reverse engineer them, thought maybe someone else is ahead of me.
