Any idea what to double-check in order to find out what is wrong, because the sensor started to eat its battery heavily fast? I purchased 3 similar sensors all installed at the same time only few weeks ago. Now one of them down to 44% while others still at 100%.
Any hints what might be wrong? Or would it be better to unpair it, reset it completely and take into use again (and accept the fact that it implies losing all related automations etc)?
did you find out what happened to the sensor?
I also have a FGK10x which I bought in January.
Mine was already at only 94% battery level when I got it, but the battery level never went below that until about two weeks ago when the sensor suddenly stopped working.
I removed the sensor from my zwave network but was unable to re-include it.
Also the reset procedure described in the manual didn’t do anything…
Eventually I took out my voltmeter and checked the battery - it was only at 1.3V instead of the 3.6V for a fresh battery.
So I guess that simply the battery is empty. I ordered a bunch of new ones in hope to revive the sensor.
Anyway, apparently the battery monitoring of the sensor should not be trusted.
