Fibaro Smoke Sensor - Control Switch + WAKE UP INTERVAL

Hello,

after adding the device to my HA (Z-Wave JS integration), it has a control switch displayed by default, which is inactive.
Does anyone have an idea what this means?

Should the switch rather be ON or OFF … I mean if the smoke sensors is switched off by this, it makes no sense at all ?! :upside_down_face:

The control’s entity is named “light.smoke_detector_basic”… strange name for a smoke sensor.

Question 2:
In the manual of the device, the WAKE UP INTERVAL is given as first advanced parameter, but I can’t find this setting in the configuration dialogue to change this?
Could anyone please point me to the setting, where I can change this and make it longer then 6h as set in default - 24h would be great to save the battery.

Any help and hint is appreciated.
Thank you and best regards,

nib2k

Hey nib2k,

On the first part: I am going to assume based on the entity name that it concerns a light.
When opening it on my devices I am seeing the following message:

This entity is no longer being provided by the zwave_js integration. If the entity is no longer in use, delete it in settings

Second part should be under settings → add-ons → ZWave JS UI → (your device) → under ‘Values’ → ‘Wake Up v2’

Is the sensor properly installed in the zwave system?
I have 5 of those sensors (same firmware), none showing a light switch.
I see lots of sensor and diagnostic values, but no switches.

Wake-up settings (and various others) can be set by using zwavejs-ui, not from zwavejs.
