File Editor Broken after 2025.2.5 update?

Since updating to 2025.2.5 I’m unable to see/edit files. When I select the File Editor, I get a blank editor…

Did you clear your browser cache ? Or tried a private window ?

Yes, multiple times.

I’ve restored from a backup, one day earlier, and that seems to have “fixed” the issue of seeing and editing files. But i’m not conviced its a long term fix.

I have not installed 2025.2.5, but on my HA’s running 2025.3.0b1 File Editor has no problems opening files.

Well, that’s not much of a data point. I never had issue on 2.4 either.

File Editor is an add-on, it should run independent of which HA version is running. Supervisor version might be an issue.

That could be plausable. There was an update to supervisor.

Hello, I have the same problem, and even from VsCode I no longer have access to files since the last update.
I restarted the VS Code and file editor add-ons after deleting my browser cache and it works again for me.
