In my Android phone, when I open File Editor the screen looks normal. When I touch a place to begin an edit, the screen magnifies to become unusable. I can pinch to reduce the magnification and type edits. Another touch magnifies the screen again. No other HA screen does this, only File Editor.
Is this an Android or HA setting?
Maybe it’s an Android setting - can’t reproduce it on my phone (Android 13).
Possibly one of the Accessibility settings? Or the keyboard app? I use Codeboard.
Good ideas. I found nothing in accessibility. I use Gboard and Samsung keyboards. Both behave the same. This happens only with File Manager.
Update: I found that even with Accessibility > Visual Enhancements > Magnifier turned off, my phone still magnifies in File Editor. Instead of ‘touch’ magnification, I set it to a side button. Magnification on touch no longer occurs.
