Finally a Zigbee coordinator that just sits on my network – AVATTO GW90

Been using USB dongles for a while. They work, but I always had that one issue: placement.

My HA server is tucked away, and USB extension cables are ugly.

Picked up the AVATTO GW90 PoE recently. Here's my take:

The one feature that sold me:
PoE + Ethernet.
Plug it into my switch, done. No USB port, no extension cable, no "which USB port has less interference" guessing game. It just lives on the network. That alone was worth it for me.

Other things I like:

Pre-flashed as Zigbee coordinator – plug & play with Z2M

Dual 5dBi antennas – The signal is very stable

Web UI for firmware updates (no command line)

Also works over WiFi or USB if I ever change my setup

Does it work?
Yes. Z2M saw it immediately. Paired my zigbee devices. No dropouts so far.

Bottom line:
If you want a network-connected coordinator and don't want to deal with USB drama, this is a clean solution. Not saying it's better than X or Y – it just works for me.
