Ever since I decided I’ll be mounting an iPad on my wall, I was eager to update my default dashboard to match the new Apple Liquid Glass design language - and optimise it for tablet screen size.
So about 40-60 hours of work, reading documentation and experimenting with css and js, plus some inspiration from AI tools, I’m happy enough with the result to share.
Uses the amazing Bubble Cards, with a lot of customisations:
- custom Climate Card adapted to work with a
water heater - custom Room Card build from scratch
- custom Vacuum Cleaner card
- Liquid Glass 2 module (although iOS does not fully support it in its full beauty)
- a lot of tweaks to pretty much every card to achieve the overall aesthetics.
