Fix for Tapo P115 not working in Home Assistant after firmware update

If your Tapo P115 stopped working in Home Assistant after a recent firmware update, the solution is very simple:

Open the Tapo app → Device Settings → Third Party Control → Enable it.

This re‑activates the local API on the P115, allowing Home Assistant to authenticate the device again.
Without this setting enabled, the plug only accepts cloud‑based control and Home Assistant cannot connect.

Confirmed working on firmware: 1.4.0 Build 251020

Hope this helps others running into the same issue!

I have already updated mine, and i did also solved it … But never had a thought of sharing this like in such FIX Topic … if any Site-Managers see this, this could be a good idea for a Category
