[Fixed] Sonoff Zigbee Dongle-e lost after update

Hi,

I’ve ran the last update 2026.1.4 and ZHA is not working anymore. I have Failed setup, will retry: [Errno -5] Name has no usable address. My setup has been working smoothly for the last 2 years.

From Silicon Labs Multiprotocol, I have this error:

Device '/dev/serial/by-id/usb-ITEAD_SONOFF_Zigbee_3.0_USB_Dongle_Plus_V2_20240104180256-if00' does not exist in Silicon Labs Multiprotocol (core_silabs_multiprotocol).

The same issue happened at the previous update but it came back a bit later.

I have tried to:

  • reset the USB port as I’m going through proxmox
  • reset the hub but the connection failed.

Any idea of how I could fix that?

How I fixed it:

  • The issue was with the Silon Labs Multiprotocol.
  • I uninstall it
  • Reflash the dongle to be Zigbee only
  • Transfer my back up on it.
