I recently opened up my Switch-Bot Hub Mini and noticed that it uses an ESP8266EX chip. I’m curious if anyone here has successfully flashed ESPHome onto this device. Is the ESP8266EX compatible with ESPHome, and are there any specific steps or challenges I should be aware of in the process?
My main goal is to repurpose the Switch-Bot Hub Mini as a Bluetooth hub for Home Assistant. If anyone has insights or experience with a similar setup, I’d really appreciate your input!
