I've spent 2 days ressurecting an old mini pc to install Ubuntu to run cloudcutter to flash these. I want to get rid of tuya because my HA tuya integration has been playing up dreadfully for the past couple of weeks. Is it possible to flash these using cloudcutter? And if so, which brand of socket or firmware version & make should I select from cloudcutter's list?
Tuya seem to making it more & more difficult?
I have ten of these sockets installed & I can't face the idea of dismantling them all to serial flash.
Thanks for that. Saved me a lot of time searching through cloudcutter's many options for a likely looking profile. I'd tried several already, including a few recommended by AI which "..will definitely work..." (AI does seem to have an inflated opinion of its own infallibility)
I've been steeling myself for the serial flashing path, but I was browsing the Google play store for tuya related stuff & downloaded & installed the older version (with the blues icon) and everything started working properly again. No idea why.
I shall continue with my plans to serial flash a spare socket, because I fully expect Tuya to go AWOL again.
