Flexit Bodø Supreme bathroom fan – custom integration, local UDP, no cloud

(Egen Home Assistant-integrasjon for Flexit Bodø Supreme badromsvifte, satt sammen ved å reverse-engineere det lokale UDP-protokollen viften bruker.)

The Flexit Bodø Supreme bathroom extractor fan has no official Home Assistant integration. Note this is a different device/protocol from the Flexit Nordic units covered by the official BACnet integration in HA core — the Bodø Supreme talks over a simple local UDP protocol on port 4000 instead, so I reverse-engineered it from packet captures of the official “Flexit Fans” app.

Nothing goes through Flexit’s servers — it’s local-network-only.

Features

  • Sensors: temperature, humidity, air quality (relative index), fan speed
  • Switches: Boost (forced ventilation), 24-hour mode
  • Device is placed in the “Bad” (bathroom) area by default when first added

Install via HACS

  1. HACS → the three-dot menu → Custom repositories
  2. Add https://github.com/PolsaFH/ha-flexit-bodo-supreme, category Integration
  3. Install, restart Home Assistant, add the integration from Settings → Devices & Services

You’ll need the fan’s IP, a 16-character device ID and 4-digit PIN, same as used in the Flexit Fans app.
