Flo Water Shutoff Integration Reliability

I was required to install Flo by my insurance company. Today I found that there is an integration for it. I installed it and it seems to work. However, I immediately disabled it. I have a couple of concerns about leaving it enabled:

  1. How likely is it to inadvertently shut off the water? It would be pretty annoying to have it shut off while someone is in the shower or the washer is running and no one is home?
  2. How likely is it to prevent the shut off from reacting to a legitimate leak (or turning the water back on before the leak is fixed). The whole point of this thing is to prevent water damage. The last thing I need is some s/w bug to get in the way of that.

The main reason I like the idea of using the integration is that I already have a toggle called “vacation” that causes a bunch of things to happen. It would be convenient to shut off the water too.

Thoughts? Experiences? If you’re using the integration, did it ever do anything weird with the shutoff?
