Any one know or have tested something like this in HA setup or have any other suggestions? I woud like to have something that could be flush mounted so I can hide the power or PoE cable in a installation box behind the device

Perhaps edit those links to delete the first question mark and everything after that to remove all the tracking garbage and more people will look at what you have.

They are way overpriced. I think they may be zombie items(from what I call them). Sellers no longer sell these items, yet for whatever need to need to keep their shop looking full of goods.

Cheap Android tablets, new, their browsers used in kiosk mode, or for those a little more environmentally conscious of keeping devices out of landfill, an old iPad can also be repurposed. Just check that they are compatible for webkit browser display in the official HomeAssistant webpage.

Christmas time is great, as new devices are bought and the old ones put away in a drawer, so ask, especially parents with kids. They will be happy to pass it on, usually free if they know it will be put to good use.
