Hi all,
I have a Fondail solar outdoor camera (app: FONDAIL by Universal Technology Industrial HK). I’m trying to integrate it with Home Assistant but haven’t found a way yet.
What I’ve tried:
- The CloudEdge custom integration — credentials fail because Fondail runs on a different Meari server endpoint
- ONVIF — not available in the camera’s settings
- RTSP — no local stream exposed
The camera is cloud-only. Its settings menu has: Cloud Storage, AI Analysis, Alarm Management, Device Share, Live Style, Image Settings, Sound Settings, Video Encryption, Recording Management, and General Settings (work indicator, installation guide, preview timeout, battery management, 12-hour clock). No local access options anywhere.
I know Fondail is made by Hangzhou Meari Technology (same company as CloudEdge/SmartEye), so the underlying API should be similar — just pointing at a different server.
Has anyone managed to integrate a Fondail camera, or any other Meari white-label app that isn’t CloudEdge? Is there a way to configure pycloudedge to use a different server endpoint?
Thanks
