After using it successfully for a month in combination with my explorer, my account was blocked last night. also just before the weekend, so I can’t call them until Monday for an unlock. Hopefully there will be an integration soon that will be accepted by Ford. I wonder if anyone already knows more about this.I also looked at smartcar.com but I wonder if something can be built with 500 API calls per month. and the question is whether they have been accepted by Ford

This is a beginner question, but how do I switch to the 1.70 branch? HACS shows only 1.68 and I cannot add a custom repository with that branch because it says fordpass-ha already exists.
A good tip for using the fordpass integration: Use a completely separate ford account with a different email, and only use that account for HA. Since I did that, many many months ago, I’ve had no problems with account lockouts.
What is the difference between 1.68 and 1.7?

Where do I find that 1.7 version? 1.68 does still have the authentication bug for European users.
And me. Looked everywhere of how to actually install v1.70. Like others if I try to add it as a custom repo it states the integration already exists in HACS. However that version only has 1.68. Totally confused

OK thanks to a helpful contributor on Github I managed to get this working. Follow the link here and it’s all explained. In essence download the zip folder from the v1.70 Github repository and upload to Custom Components folder.

I’m stuck getting it to work. I got the right code but then I’m asked the VIN number. Somehow the menu is in Italien al of a sudden. After entering the VIN I get an ‘unknown error’. Very strange.
It only worked when I use the USA region, even though I’m in Europe… maybe that’s why?

i have a ford Transit 2024, i use the Ford pass Integration, but the only supported features are the Doors and Window, which seems strange, in the Ford Pass app i see more Details. Someone was able to inetgrate a Ford Transit?

Any Idea why tyre pressure sensors are not available for a UK Explorer? Looks like the are available for some vehicles.
I’ve decided to try again. Made a new account for it, put my location on the Netherlands and still it does not work. Not sure where I go wrong here.
I have moved to ha-fordpass by marq24. It’s a completely redone fork and is well maintained. It has worked perfectly for several months now for me.

Did you tried logout all of existing users in your mobile Ford-app? And only login the “ghost”-user created just fot this integration?
I had really no problems with this integration. I’m using the HA-FORDPASS BY MARQ24 integration. Not the original one from Ford.
It was my firewall! I got it working trough a hotspot!
