Understood, looking forward for 2026 !! The live info is highly appreciated. Thx.
Btw I have the lights run on easy automations. If trackstatus is Yellow then light yellow etc. At VSC and SC more bulbs turn red. Works !!
I do the same, simple and works. Think I have conditions if the seesion is live and the TV is on
Yeah, are you using the blueprint?
No, I just set up a simple automation myself.
yes, same.
After a long period of intensive work, F1 Sensor v3.0.0 is now released.
This is the biggest update to the integration so far. A lot of effort has gone into a major rework of the internal architecture, with significant improvements to API handling and live data reliability, including a more robust SignalR implementation for long-running sessions and reconnect scenarios.
At the same time, many new sensors have been added, especially on the live side, laying the groundwork for the 2026 season and future features. New and improved capabilities include:
• Live Delay to sync live timing with your TV broadcast
• Race Control available both as a sensor and as events
• Team Radio, Pit Stops, Current Tyres, Top Three, Sprint Results, FIA documents, and more
In short, this release is a major technical upgrade and a big step forward for the real-time experience in Home Assistant.
Version 3.0.0 is now available via HACS.
Feedback, bug reports, and ideas for future improvements are always very welcome.
This is spectacular. Can’t wait for the new season to start to put this to use. Thank you again for all your work on this amazing integration.
Your sync-button calibration tool got me dreaming… Could this eventually evolve to enable live data “playback” of a previous race manually synced to watching (or rewatching) a previous broadcast?
To be honest, I already have something very close to this, at least in principle. The integration has a “hidden” replay mode that can play back an entire session with all live data exactly as it happened in real time, which I currently use for testing and development. What I have not fully figured out yet is how to expose this as a proper feature in a way that is simple, intuitive, and robust for everyday use.
And it can happen the I am working on something ![]()
Nice update, thanks
About the P1 P2 P3 “championship” sensor, I couldn’t find it in the wiki but what data does it contain?
for me it would be helpful to have the following:
- Driver image url
- Points
- point gap to 1
Also a points still available this season sensor would be nice to have.
Hi @Johan_L
Looks like I forgot about that one in the docs, thansk for noticing. Will add that ![]()
This is the attributes of the sensor

would love this for MotoGP ![]()
Hi everyone ![]()
I’m looking for a bit of help from the community.
I’ve been spending quite some time improving the documentation and polishing the overall look and feel of the project. I’ve also added a lot of new sensors and data ahead of the season start, and I’m planning a bigger release before the season kicks off.
The one thing that’s still missing is a proper banner / hero image for the GitHub README and docs.
I’d love something clean and modern that shows both the automation side and the new live dashboard cards I’m working on.
I’ve attached a screenshot just to show the upcoming cards and features (not released yet), not as a design reference.
If anyone here enjoys design and would like to contribute a banner, feel free to send me a PM. Any help is really appreciated ![]()
Maby not that AI-generated
But look cool
Reminder For Evert… ty!
looking forward to it
Love the new features in 3.1 @Stimo .
Now I just need to learn how it all the new stuff works and set it up in less than 22 days.
Or, if someone is nice enough, do they want to do it for me???
Dashboards and automations Please…
All I have is the lights at the moment
I love the layout and I think it doesn’t really need any changes, but I do would love to see the yaml code for this though so I can add it to my board ![]()
there are examples on the GitHub page for the Integration…maybe not this exact one (yet) but prob enough to get you started with your own dashboards.
