Hello ladies And gentlemen. Nice great work.i setup everything and everything works perfectly .now 8 just have maybe a silly question. The 19828p can only supports Firefox ESR + plugin. I am actually building my own server rack with a monitor. Was thinking of Firefox with tab rotator to show different dashboards of grafana and also IP cam stream. But I don’t get it running as the needed software part for foscam is only working on Windows devices and I use a pi for the project. The stream of foscam in hass is not fluent. How would u realise my project to show the steam ? Btw this project is awesome …unfortunately I dunno how to implement the cam in a better way. Vocal won’t work on my pi somehow strp works great
i really dont know how to get a fluent stream, except with the Firefox plugin or an app.
but i really dont care about that. if it is important it gets saved and that is fluent.
its no tv, where i go looking to for a long time. its something i got there to look at for a seconds if everything is allright and then i look at something else.
i dont even watch the stream in HA, just the picture that gets updated every 10 seconds.
for certain, when you want to use a rotator, that shows the cam for a few seconds, why should you want a fluent stream for that?

In the curl command the cmd comes before the username and password. I was wondering as the controll doesnt work sometimes.. Does it matter here ?nope that order isnt important.
the controls wont work sometime, mostly because the cam is busy and doesnt accept commands at that moment.
in the new version i am working on i have warnings for that.
for instance, if the cam is recording it seems that it has trouble accepting other commands at the same time.
strange… becaause curl command works great
try using curl commands over and over, and you will hit a moment that they will fail too.
i havent been able to pinpoint it exactly, but i noticed that when the cam is recording i get the busy message more then when its not recording.
the FTP error you get is because you have a wrong setting in your FTP settings or your FTP server cant be reached.
check under network for your FTP settings.
and if your cam is on wifi, that could happen more, when the wifi signal at the place of the cam is weaker sometimes.

i only use FTP.
i setup a FTP server on my raspberry and that way all pics and video get loaded to my raspberry.
not by wifi though, but i have a LAN connected to it.
OK STRANGE … after restarting appdaemon it works now
i guess there was something cashed wrong somewhere then.
I attached to WIFI.I could add LAN cable but ath the moment it is fluent . As the router is just “next” to the cam

U r german right ? Where r u from? I am from Frankfurt but live in France close to Paris btw 
It’s time we get real sliders for dasboard I love the photo function 
BTW… to watch the sream outside the lan i use just VLC player

i also use LAN connection for savety reasons.
a wifi signal can be disturbed from someone and then they can get to the cam unnoticed.
LAN cant be disturbed from the outside.
Dashboard component is coming as soon as i finish the other cam input, but there where a few other things taking priority here.
I am dutch but live in Germany for 11 years now. I live 50 meters away from the mosel. halfway trier and koblenz.

HEy Rene… Might it be possible to automatically “reset” the present points and present cruises to something like " select" ?
