Found Work Around: All hue lights unavailable after .104.1 upgrade

All my hue lights show unavailable after .104.1 upgrade. The hue integration with the lights does apper under integrations. I am not using discovery for my hue. Here are the relevant lines from my configuration.yaml

hue:
  bridges:
    - host: 192.168.x.xxx
      allow_unreachable: true

I am running hass.io in a virtual box VM. I read something about hue in the release notes

Here are the error messages from the log. It looks like there is an issue with the “optional” allow_hue_groups entry

2020-01-17 08:03:47 ERROR (MainThread) [homeassistant.config_entries] Error setting up entry Philips hue for hue

File “/usr/src/homeassistant/homeassistant/components/hue/init.py”, line 115, in async_setup_entry
allow_groups = config[CONF_ALLOW_HUE_GROUPS]
KeyError: ‘allow_hue_groups’

When I changed my configuration to:

hue:
  bridges:
    - host: 192.168.x.xxx
      allow_unreachable: true
      allow_hue_groups: true

All my lights were working again: Either allow_hue_groups is no longer optional (a docs change) or there’s a bug in .104.1 for hue configuration

I ran into exactly the same problem with 0.104.1. Thanks for the tip to set the option hue_allow_groups. It is also working fine for me too now.
