I thought I had found the perfect smoke alarm after changing from Zwave Fibaro FGSD002’s
I like the fact it has temperature as well
BUT the one in the kitchen sets off sometimes when the kettle is boiled
Is there a way of adjusting the sensitivity of the alarm
thanks

It’s not about adjusting the sensitivity.
It’s about the sensor’s ability to distinguish between water vapor and smoke.

ok I just thought obvs wrongly that this would be the answer, as on the Fibaro you can adjust the sensitivity

Another fault from what is suposed to be a Certified Work with Home Assistant device
Hi Renato, I’ve emailed you but just so everyone else on this thread can also see, we are still actively working on fixes for this device and extra device samples have now been received to an additional team member of ours who has joined us recently and has expanded our zigbee resource. I will update here when I have more news. Thanks!
This is why optical smoke sensors are not supposed to be used in kitchens or garages. For such an environment, you should use fire sensors.
