[Frigate 0.17.2 / go2rtc] Best config & feedback for Reolink cameras

Hi everyone,

I’m running Frigate 0.17.2 (mini-PC + Google Coral TPU) with three Reolink cameras:

  • Reolink Video Doorbell WiFi

  • Reolink RLC-1224A

  • Reolink E1 Outdoor Pro

Following stream drops and recurring 404 errors in go2rtc (especially on the Doorbell), I’m looking for the most stable setup for my config.yml.

For those with a similar hardware setup:

  • Which source protocol do you prefer in go2rtc for the main stream: direct RTSP, HTTP-FLV, or RTMP?

  • How do you handle H.265 / 4K (RLC-1224A / E1 Outdoor Pro) between recording and detection?

  • What FFmpeg arguments/flags do you use (audio, sub-stream)?

  • Do you keep the RTSP stream solely for two-way audio on the Doorbell?

I think the latest HomeAssistant core update had some love pointed at this. Worth perusing the release notes if applicable in your situation.
