Frigate at Homeassistant

Hello everyone,

I have 2 HomeAsssitant running on different Proxmox VMs.

One is my main installation. On the other I installed Frigate due to load sharing. Everything is working so far. How do I now manage to connect from the main instance on the homeassistant Frigate instance.

This somehow doesn’t work when I enter the IP+ port.

Check your Proxmox firewall settings to be sure the VM’s can see each other. Also check if there’s any firewall settings in the OS on those VM’s as well.

Why not just install frigate on its own VM? It does not need HA to run.
