Just recently updated Frigate and refactored my config. It was long overdue as I created my config early and have only changed minimal since. I have a couple of Amcrest cameras that have a large field of vision. I have tried setting them using the sub stream for detection (704x480) and the main stream for recordings. I found that the sub stream wasn’t detecting people so I turned it off and set detect to the main stream. Is the proper procedure to keep adjusting the resolution until you get the best of both worlds (clear recording/people detection)? I know in the docs there is a bit about the resolution and how to high can create issues as well as too low can create issues depending on the position of the camera.
In my experience, 1280x720 for 16:9 cameras and 1280x960 for 4:3 cameras is a good spot for even further detections
