Frigate integration not available for configuration

I am trying to test frigate. The server will Not be hosted on my Home Assistant installation.

  • HA core-2021.12.8
  • Frigate integration 2.2

The first step I did was to install the integration via HACS store. Next I rebooted.

Now I am trying to configure the integration, but when I try to install it, it does not show up. I can see that I have a warning at boot time from HA saying that is it not an official integration, so I guess HA is seeing it properly at boot.

What am I missing? What should I look for?

Log (which looks okay given it was installed via HACS):

2022-01-10 20:59:59 WARNING (SyncWorker_1) [homeassistant.loader] We found a custom integration frigate which has not been tested by Home Assistant. This component might cause stability problems, be sure to disable it if you experience issues with Home Assistant

OK so…

I reinstalled the integration via HACS, restarted another time HA… not working. Forgot about it and 30 minutes later I came back and now am I able to configure it.

Not sure exactly what happened, maybe the reinstallation made something.

Solved.

Had a similar problem and found this thread. Mine ended up being a browser issue. Worked after clearing cookies (hard refresh) then logging back in.
