Frigate Integration: Sensors showing unavailable (Resolved)

Hi - I’ve got Frigate setup on an LXC container on Proxmox. It’s working fine - and I have the advanced camera card working fine in HA.

I’ve also installed the Frigate integration in Home Assistant. However, whilst diagnostics (e.g. detection fps, OV interfance speed etc). are showing fine, on the doorbell device all the sensors are showing unavailable.

In the Frigate.yaml file I’m not using MQTT. Do I have to set this up first to get the sensors working in HA?

Try it.

I’ve never used Frigate without MQTT, so I can’t answer your question. Put the MQTT credentials into your frigate.yml and check to see if the sensors are active.

I thought Frigate documentation was clear that MQTT was needed to communicate with HA.
