Can anyone confirm that this blueprint works with frigate 0.16? Iâve been holding off on updating just in case it breaks the notifications.
Just upgraded yesterday and itâs working for me.
Thank God it still works, was holding off updating
deleted my post⌠i thought I was in the Frigate group ![]()
Were you able to figure it out how to push the Frigate GenAI description in the notifications?
I am unable to get the automation working. I only have my Frigate camera and iPhone configured in the automation. The automation doesnât trigger. Here is my setup:
Frigate 0.16.0-docker
Frigate integration 5.9.4 (unauthenticated notification event proxy enabled)
Home Assistant Container-2025.8.3
mosquitto-docker
MQTT integration installed and configured
In my mosquitto log I see that Home Assistant and Frigate are connected. I have MQTT Explorer (docker) running and I can see triggers in frigate/tracked_object_update and frigate/review. When I walk around my yard, those new events appear.
I have multiple automations setup using the blueprint. Each camera has one with frigate/review and also frigate/tracked_object_update. All automations display âneverâ for last triggered. I am sure I am missing something, but I just canât find it.
Any help would be appreciated. Glen

Can someone help me out to get the notifications working again?
Or give me the blueprint url to import for the latest blueprint of version 0.12? With this version everything worked well for me.
Thank you
I just noticed that I didnât receive a notification. I suspect it has something to do with the cooldown function, at least thatâs what the trace showed me. The first notification wasnât sent because it was only a detection and therefore shouldnât have been sent. The second one, a few seconds later, wasnât sent because of the 60-second cooldown. Does the cooldown also start if no notification was sent, i.e., every time the automation is triggered? Then the cooldown doesnât have the desired function; it should only be triggered when a notification is actually sent.
Hello great blueprint
I have problem send snapshots with telegram when I try it everything itâs stopped.
I put in The Blueprint the base URL and the chat ID for the telegram and nothing happens.
The same blueprint if I delete the chat ID for my telegram bot itâs working super cool with the mobile application and with my camera configurating in the Frigate.
I donât know what can I do for use only the telegram with The Blueprint
Does anyone has the problem, that the Apple Watch notifications try to play a video instead of a snapshot? No live view, no video - just snapshot with bounding box ![]()
Yes, Iâm seeing the same on my watch. It seems to have odd behavior since update in to iOS/WatchOS 26, seeing the play video or notification with no attachment.
Same problem here which started today. I have not updated my watch OS from what I can see. Been on 11.6 for a while. Updated home assistant to 2025.10 yesterday though
Hello Glen, do you still have the problem, or were you able to solve it? I have the exact same issue, the automation simply doesnât trigger, even though events are being published to MQTT. Iâd be really interested to know if you managed to fix it or if itâs a bug.
Thank you
The trigger is extremely simple.
If itâs not working it suggests something is not configured properly.
Yes, it works now. The problem was that I had deactivated the recordings. One question: I read in an older conversation that it isnât possible to view the clips in the app instead of the browser when I receive a notification. Is that still the case today?
This solved it for me:
Thanks, i uninstall the homeassistant app on the watch and now it works. But when i reinstall the app it doesn´t work. I need the app for ios.actions on the watch.
So i have to wait for a fix.
I use now the telegram bot for notifications. This works fine.
this issue was fixed in the beta version of the home assistant ios app!
