I think this started after 2025.5 update. On my settings main menu, devices main menu, System main menu, About menu & side bar seems to have an issue where the the background highlighted color stays stuck even after moving away from the menu item.
Hope the gif above explains it better. Is this something relating to the theme changes they did on 2025.5?
