Did you try clearing your web browser cache?
I didn’t try that, no - I’ll wait until 2025.02.02, and give that a try - interestingly, it happens to any previously logged in browser, even Chrome on Android. Haven’t tried Firefox, will try that next as well … thanks! is this something you’ve seen before?
Yes whenever there is a frontend update strange things can happen. Clearing the cache nearly always fixes it.
Okay, tried that - no difference, the problem persists - and it happens in Firefox as well, not just Chrome - Firefox is a completely fresh install, nothing cached
What card are you using?
Mostly the “Entities Card” - those are the ones being displayed incorectly … when I revert to 2025.01.4, everything goes back to normal
Weird. There was an issue like that during beta testing but it was fixed and no one else seems to be having the issue.
Is there anything custom about your frontend?
Themes?
Nothing custom - I did migrate all panels to sections from masonry a few months back, after it became the default
It definitely only happens on any 2025.2.x
releases, I rolled back a few times to the 2025.1.4
release, and the problem goes away
Are there any themes applied or card_mod changes on the card?
No themes, no mods - vanilla setup on the dashboard / frontend side
Should I open an issue in the Gihub tracker?
Are there any errors in the web browser console?
What happens if you start in safe mode?
Are there any errors in the web browser console?
None that I can see:
What happens if you start in safe mode?
Okay, this appears to restore the padding/layout:
Here’s the list of mods in the console: (I don’t recall installing most of these!!)
I’ll try removing these one by one until I find the culprit - thanks for your help!
Okay, managed to find the culprit - was the template-entity-row
dashboard plugin - had installed that manually, not from HACs
Thanks all for your help!
Do not see any issues with template-entity-row from HACS.
