So for some time (3 years) its been bugging me that I had to use the Midea Phone app to clear the “Full of Dust” alert in Home Assistant for the listed AC unit.
Specifically the alert shows up in Home Assistant, but there is no way to clear it.
I still haven’t found a way to clear the alert in Home Assistant, however I have discovered (read the label above the button) that holding the Sleep button (on the AC) for 3 seconds clears the alert on the AC and in Home Assistant.
Given that I have to be present - next to unit (to clean the filter) its not a major problem to press the button - but not having to pull my phone out each time is a significant QOL improvement - just posting here in case anyone else failed to read the text above the button for 3 years …
PS - I have read the manual several times and that doesn’t mention it.
