It seems I am affected by a problem with a recent version of Android System Webview and FKB. It’s running on an oldish Samsung SM-T510. I have a panel
and when showing in FKB, the first two thermostat images do not display, but instead across the width of the tablet, there is some kind of coloured flickering. This happened after a recent update (probably 27/Oct)
I’ve gone down a rabbit hole with chatgpt where is tells me that Android System Webview versions 140+ (mine was 144) show problems with horizontal stack rendering. I appear to be on the latest FKB version (1.59.2-play) which does’t allow me to change any rendering engines, so I removed the updated the the ASW and am now on version 87 and the flickering is gone.
My mate chatgpt tried to get me to go to 138 version of ASW, but it wants other libraries to be installed, so I’ve not gone that far yet.
Has anyone else seen this issue and got a fix. I’m reluctant to experiment too much.
