Garage door opener - bypassing proprietary access [article]

I thought others might find this article interesting – about a hardware project called RATGDO, for Rage Against the Garage Door Opener, for non-proprietary access to garage door openers made by Chamberlain Group that use MyQ hubs.

Yes this is a well known solution. Do a search of the forum. This isn’t your project to share either so I have moved the post.

FWIW, when I tried searching the forum before posting, the search completion box did not trigger a hit on any of the keywords myq, ratgdo or chamberlain…

or Search results for 'ratgdo order:latest' - Home Assistant Community :stuck_out_tongue:

And that’s even 25 results with the misspelling! :joy:

To clarify, I was using this part of the UI, which returned no search results (when there is a match actual page hits appear at the bottom of the dropdown). I will try the other search methods in the future.

Put this in a search engine. Well perhaps one of them at a time or add other keywords. Many responses otherwise.
