Garage door status with Homematic IP sensor

Hi,

I restart this One:

I just would like to use my Homematic IP sensor to check wether the Garage door is open or closed. But i cannot find in as usual in home assistant. Where do I now find this entitiy to use in the dashboard?

I use a CCU3 over XML API together with HA OS on a raspberry.

Which sensor do you use?

What I usually do is to get the serial number from CCU and search for the according entity in HA entities list. Then I give it a friendly name.
